¨If you want to be better than us, my friend, travel ¨this phrase from the German poet Goethe is the maximum that inspired MUHER in the early 80’s with the desire to differentiate their chromatic language and break with the explosive dynamics offered by Madrid at that time , in this way seek experiences through long stays and unbeatable  experiences in places that will bring impacts that would load the color palette.  Each trip made serves to enrich the way their experiences express their visual sensations as the main argument of their developments, each era become a turning point in their career as artists, they seek the visual impact on the viewer through a personal way to transmit the color of light.

In ’84 they won the Scotch 3M National Collage Award which brought a wake-up call to large institutions as Iberia airlines and the Spanish Ministry of CULTURE, institutions that gave them the opportunity to present on the occasion of the 5th centenary of the discovery of America through the Institute of Hispanic Culture at Colon’s house museum in the Dominican Republic.

In this unstoppable task, the Association of Japanese enterprises in Spain – SUYOKAY – was so interested in their work, that gave them a sponsor to travel to the Japanese country and live the culture that they should later evolved in their artwork. After a long period of touring Japan, they returned to Spain full of new experiences that were reflected in a magnificent collection in Madrid through an exhibition that brought through their gaze and color palette, the art and culture of the nascent country to the European: “Impressions of Japan”.

Project also offered by the German companies Lufthansa, Daimler Chrysler aerospace, Deustche bank and the Maritim chain of Hotels to present a magnificent collection at the Circle of Fine Arts in Madrid.

MUHER needed a search and research constant enriching as artists new disciplines applicable to their artistic expression, thus increased the frequency of trips, escapes to unknown countries that most aroused the interest of both to research and know those cultures. Concern that they are currently fostering in their tireless quest to constantly reinvent themselves.
